Review:

Assembly -   The assembly was pretty straight forward.  The instructions were poor like most of the ARFs coming out lately but it didn't hamper the construction.  Everything went together well except for a few minor exceptions.  The wheels didn't come with with any spacers but I added a few pieces of plastic tubing to fix that up.  The kit even comes with glue and tools to put the plane together.  The plane is huge but uses a mini servo.  I'm not sure how that will work out but I'll find out as soon as I test fly the plane.  The plane includes 6 preinstalled servos.  Two for flaps and ailerons and one each for the rudder and elevator.  This thing even comes with LED lights for the wings and fuse.  Looks pretty cool but I don't think they'll be used in flight.

Positives Negatives
Large scale plane
Everything is included
LED lights look cool
Simple construction
Decals had creases on them
Nosecone is pretty much worthless
Servos seem small

Flight Test - I had my first test flight today.  Tried to take off from the grass and the front wheel kept digging in.  Finally hand launched the plane (an advantage of a foam plane) and the plane was surprisingly fast.  Trimmed out the plane and got it flying very nice.  Very responsive and does a fairly tight loop.  Has a tendency to slide on turns but nothing a little up elevator can't correct.  Landings are slow and smooth.

An advantage to this plane is that the main gear actually has two mounting points and it can be converted into  a tail dragger.  No rear wheel is included but I'll find something lying around.  I'm going to remount the gear and remove the wheel pants to see if I can get it take off from the grass.

More coming soon....

Video:  My camera man (my son) had dead batteries in his video camera so we'll try again next time.
